She thought that if these are the levels of IV then what is the IV (independent variable or something you change on purpose)? She realized that the IV was type of bed. She clicked like a light switch she found out what the DV was, the amount of time slept in bed. She then needed a unit of measure( the thing you measure) in like how long the bears sleep on the bed.Now she needed a Constant or two. One was person sleeping in bed, and two length of bed. Now she was set BUT She needed a Purpose. She came up with, The purpose of this investigation is to determine the effect of the type of bed on the amount of time slept in that bed."
